One of the big fears permeating the whole debate between the Minutemen and the immigrant-rights people, of course, is that the undesirables in our midst will marry, maybe even have children.

The worst, indeed, has now occurred.

Intruding into my cyberspace on Monday was a press release announcing that a Minuteman and a Minutewoman who met while patrolling the border against marauding Mexicans are getting married Saturday in a "pro-America wedding ceremony."

Deborah Sattler, 45, of Mission Viejo and Britt Craig, 57, formerly of Georgia, "found their dedication to protecting the United States sovereignty and their love of country brought them together. As husband and wife they will work as a team in anti-illegal immigration reform.

I hesitated to go with this after reading some concern on the Free Republic Web site that the "mainstream media" would use the press release for its own unAmerican purposes.

"Just make sure the MSM doesn't characterize this as some sort of 'weirdo' event," wrote one concerned blogger. "I'm VERY cognizant that the fast-declining MSM will edit anything down to look like a Kook Fest. If it were me, I'd just go ahead and get married. Not make a political event out of it, which could (and would) be spun by the media as a 'ha-ha' story."

A ha-ha story? What kind of pinko would do that?

What a load. Surely Mr. Mickadeit locks neither his home or car. He needs to make sure the poorer brown folks have access to comfortable digs and convenient transportation.

There's no reason to worry that the indigent brown migrants might eat all of his food or use his gasoline or damage his property. That he advocates exactly such treatment for trespassers into this country is why I have such confidence that the goober is more than just another posturing parrot of the far, far left.

Well, maybe not.
