N. Korea: Launch Prep Complete for Additional 3 or 4 Missiles

Government sources said, "In addition to missiles already launched, N. Korea has set up three or four of Nodong and Scud B & C missiles on mobile launcher, with all launch preparation complete. N. Korea declared the prohibited sea-travel zone which is in effect from July 5th to 11th, due to missile launches, and banned fishing boats from leaving port. Theoretically, more launches are possible for next five days.

N. Korean missile launches so far.

No doubt we are acquiring data from their launches. It wouldn't suprise me if they were trying to goad us into intercepting one to see what our system does.

We need to launch a Schlong at their Nodong and fast

If a Schlong and a Nodong hit each other, does one disappear inside the other?

I really do not get the logic of this? Does he not think he got enough attention yesterday? Maybe it is the North Korean version of laying in the floor screaming and kicking ones feet like a three year old. I suppose if we do not accomodate them after this next round of launches that the entire nation will holds its breath until it turns blue.

Japan is showing amazing restraint on this.

Imagine if Cuba were launching scuds our direction?

Great way for China to gain intel on our missile defense.

To really screw with them, Bush should just mention in an off hand way that we have already shot down the first batch, and are ready for the second.

Maybe there was no leaking this time...and NK certainly wouldn't have made such an announcement if that is what happened.

Well, he is making a good effort (for him) on behalf of his handlers (the PRC). He even threw-in a shot in Russia's direction so that the ChiComs could observe Russian responses. The TD-2 failure is just to fun to ponder; either we whacked it (that would be a nifty demonstration of an ability to select one missile out of many) or the thing suffered as catastrophic failure (which is rather amusing).

North Korea's next generation missile will be named the Long Duck Dong. ( "Donger tired. Donger need sleep" )

That way when they shoot it into the ocean, they can all say in unison "Lake! Big Lake!" right before it splashes down.

(sorry in advance for the 80's movie reference. It is my wife's favorite)

That was Rush's favority "theory" about the why's of yesterday's event..that they didn't fail, we shot them down..although he said he has no "source" that told him that.

BTW..on CNN, the WH reporter made a HUGH deal about how Bush has "learned a lesson"...and is treating N. Korea "more diplomatically"...than before Iraq.

BAH....the circumstances were different..and they know it...but OF COURSE...N. Korea isn't the bad guys..Bush is the one/only bad guy in the world right now...

So are we (the US) just letting him use up all his missiles, or does this guy really want to start a war?

I don't know but Lil' Kim is sure knocking the heck out of the fish.

That's essentially what Madelline Albright thinks. Of course NOBODY is better at laying on the floor kicking & screaming (to get attention) than a Clinton Administration official.

I wonder if we've recovered any of the missiles or parts thereof yet?...........

I may be giving away my age, but when I was a kid anything made in the Far East was made out of junk. I remember diassembling a cheap toy and finding that it was made out of an old beer can. I wouldn't be surprised if Kim Jong Mentally Il's No Dong missiles were made out of the same junk.

For them to see what the system does they would need a good signal intercept capacity. Do they have it?
