Ask the Justices (O'Connor and Breyer to be on The Aaron Harber Show)
SCOTUSblog ^ | July 5, 2006 | SCOTUSblog

Aaron Harber of the Aaron Harber show (harbertv.com) has an interview with Justices Breyer and O’Connor tomorrow afternoon, and he has solicited SCOTUSblog readers to help him formulate some questions for the two Honorable interviewees.

So, if you have a query or two about the law or the Court that you think would be appropriate for either of the two Justices, post it as a comment on this post or e-mail jharrow [at] akingump.com by 1:00 PM Eastern Time tomorrow, Thursday, July 6. Hopefully, we can send Aaron a few good questions and he will report back to us with some fruitful responses.

I don't know anything about the host (apparently he's based out of Colorado), but I checked out his columns and his history and it seems to me like he is a liberal. Maybe some FReepers want to submit some questions for the two guests? I think this guy tapes his interviews a few weeks in advance.

Ms Justice, doesn't the fact that so many decisions are 5/4 mean that you aren't deciding principles of law anymore but just making it up as you go?

Q: When someone says the "Constitution is a living document", do you interpret that to mean...

a) Subject to modification through judicial interpretation

or

b) Subject to modification through the amendment process

????

When did you last read the Constitution? Why do you think people want to ask you this question?

Heh, heh, Good one. You should submit that (either by posting to SCOTUSblog or sending an e-mail like that blog suggests).

Mr Justice Breyer,

Do you still feel any animosity towards Maggie Simpson for trying to kill you?

and

Just what is the deal with you and Mr. Smithers?
