Define your type of fasting, Cindy? What are you "drinking"?Obviously, she's partaking of the Kool-Aid. And besides that, I'm sure that she'll be sustaining herself on protein shakes, Slim-Fast, and other psuedo-nutritional liquids so that she'll hardly be fasting, let along experiencing the pangs of hunger.
She's in it for the publicity, not the reality.

We were honored by being joined by legendary fasters Dick Gregory and Diane WilsonThis is my favorite line. If they're so legendarily good at it why are they still breathing?

Cindy sez: "I was particularly impressed by a very slick and professionally made sign that the Freepers had. It was a large pinkish sign with white letters that read: Cindy Sheehan is Starving for Attention."I guess colorblindness is another of the Banshee's saintly attributes, since the banner wasn't pinkish in the least. It wasn't even reddish. It was COMMIE RED, baby, yeah!
I imagine some big, fat Halliburton checks'll be rolling in for that one -- oh, yeah!

""Nowhere in the Constitution does it say anywhere that our young people have to fight insane wars for greedy swine to earn anyone any kind of freedoms.""Of course it doesn't say that young people have to fight. But it's a volunteer military, so it's apparent that some people have the guts to choose to fight. Cindy's stuck in the '60's (and stuck on stupid, but I really don't have to tell anybody that obvious fact).

Profoundly to be hoped. We're still in Japan, Korea, Germany, Kosovo and Afghanistan....

Freedom is a birthright of every American and we have the Bill of Rights to prove it. Nowhere in the Constitution does it say anywhere that our young people have to fight insane wars for greedy swine to earn anyone any kind of freedoms. Yes and that birth right was paid for first in a long and bloody Revolutionary War. Another payment was made again in the War of 1812.
The price of Freedom had installment payments made in the First and Second World Wars. In these wars we also assisted other nations in paying their dues.
No Mrs. Sheehan Freedom is not free as Tomas Jefferson said The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is its natural manure.
Be proud of your son he is in good company. Your son was a patriot and died with honor. Do not dishonor his sacrifice with your foolish antics.

1. Freedom is not free. It cost money and blood in the first and every war since; ask former slaves for example.
2. She also emphasizes free choice, and makes the statement that no where in the constitution does it say that anyone has to fight insane wars....
No crap Cindy, which is why Casey volunteered. And then volunteered AGAIN, against you, who wished to stifle his FREEDOM of choice.

The Bill of Rights was written by men who spent fortunes and spilled blood killing men from another nation to secure those freedoms. She's right in the sense that freedom is free to pious and addled liberal douchebags who think their liberty is made by Smurfs and unicorns in rainbow factories.
Thanks, dead, for what is to me, a perfect example of why I came to FreeRepublic and enjoy it so much. Profound, pithy, irreverent (to the lib pious and pompous) and funny!

Ok, so maybe I will fast a bit for our troops.
Does anybody really care whether or not I fast for our troops? Anybody?
I thought not.

THANK YOU!
I actually read that quote and emailed it to a few people. I thought I had heard it all, then she pulls another classic witty (aka ignorant) quote out of the bag.
Amazing huh? Nowhere in the Constitution (please be reminded men risked their lives to write it) does it say freedom is free. Wow. And Democrats actually wonder why they cannot win an election.
Democrats are good for one thing, and that is to remind me that no matter how much I don't know, and no matter how dumb I am, I still feel intelligent whenever they open their mouthes to speak. Thanks for that!
