Since the Taepodong-2 missile failed horribly, and Kim Jong II may think he has lost face, will he become angry and pull a 'I'll show them' and do something stupid?

N. Korea has not "lost face" just because a missile failed. All other countries who began a missile program had test failures again and again. Each failure teaches how to correct for the next shot.
At the end of the day it will be apparent that the U.S. should have zapped N. Korea right away and not wait until after LA is taken out by an erratic missile that didn't fail..
Have we learned nothing?
