I agree. And each time I ask "them" for an explanation of such things as nonconformities in the geologic column, I get crickets chirping.......

Just wanted to show that even AIG knows that sedimentary rock can become metamorphic rock.

Why didn't you read the material that you linked?

Not a scrap of it in any way challenges anything about my contention that the rate of subsidence and land slides now in progress proves that the Earth cannot be very old. Do you know how to read?

You've just proven your lack of reading comprehension.

Can you map the contours of an aquifer on the surface? Can you map deposits of rock that are under from 30 to 60 feet of overburden from the surface? Do you have any idea why you even made such a stupid observation?

Your (apparent) embarrassment over your lack of understanding of metamorphic rocks has clouded your mind...

You stated in post 161 that "Metemorphic rock is not composed of sediment, except for a few scattered particles here and there. It is primarily clays." I have been posting links proving you're wrong. Is YOUR reading comprehension that challenged?

Do you still believe that metamorphic rocks never started out as sedimentary rocks? Or will you be willing to admit you are wrong?

I will work on the "rate of subsidence" mis-comprehension as soon as we put the metamorphic rock mis-comprehension to bed. As of this post, I have not addressed it at all.

Well, that's in keeping with the lack of integrity issue I often see in Genesisists.... Nice use of ellipse.

My original statement was "So your mapping was all surface contours, or soil related." Pretty sure the "soil-related" part pretty much covers your '30 to 60 feet of overburden'.

I'll ask again - ever done any mapping of deep deposits, say related to oil exploration? Ever done any geological field work, preparing geologic stratigraphic columns like the one I posted?

Some of the quarry studies can involve pretty good depth, but nothing like Petro. I have a party chief that is an experienced expert in petro, so I don't need to sweat that area; he's been handling it for 20 years or more. He worked for Sisemic prior to coming out here.
