Thank you, Meg ...... your more than kind, and your tributes are sweet and filled with love. She was the best role model, and I'm no spring chicken. So, I resolve to interrupt myself when my actions may be more half than fully baked and ponder: WWMD .. what would Maggie do? That won't get me in too much trouble now, will it? ; )
your = you're ... (now, it really is bedtime ;^) Sweet dreams.
I am the old bird no one would mistake for a spring chicken..I am Maggie and Nan's age and she was a wonderful person to try to emulate though I fear I have much learning still to do. Her spirit will be with me.
Amen! He is among us. Hallelujah!
Your post, while praising Maggie, is very much like one of hers, you know. You are letting me into your life and giving me fascinating details about your cool past! I am glad for you that God gave you the precious gift of a friend like Maggie - so rare and so priceless. Thank God she was yours so specially for a while. Please keep sharing your story, your stories, your struggles with me. I need someone like you, I need you in my life, just like I needed Maggie in her time, God knows.
I was so happy to hear her voice begin as the music continued on that link! WHAT a voice! If I am not mistaken, Kate Smith was honored by an invitation to the White House...?
And He came Himself to meet me In that way so hard to tread; And with Jesus arm to lean on, Could I have one doubt or dread?
Lovely. Thank you so much for posting that. I'm so glad I read your post. LadyX really did live leaning on the Everlasting Arms.
I came across the memorial thread for another FR's Finest contributor, whoever. I'd like to share some quotes from that thread by both WVNan and LadyX as they honored 'who'. Their words, I feel can be turned around to honor Maggie.
From WVNan...
There are two ways of spreading light:
To be the candle or the mirror that reflects it.
whoever was both. The world is darker without her.

From LadyX...
Precious are some Freep mails received from whoever; preserved, fortunately.
To all who knew her, she was always a blessing and an inspiration, and one of God's brightest lights has left what we know as earthly life.
Her faith was rock solid, and decorated wonderfully the tapestry of her life - - one all who viewed it, saw it as a most beautiful one to behold!
Now and then she'd ask me if her posts were too bold - too 'preachy' - and always the answer was "No, dear who - we all clamor for more!"
We were the delighted recipients of her wit and wisdom and encouragement, and ever so gently, we, too, were immersed in her love of our Lord.
Sometimes I'd address her as " whoever - wherever you are - - "
There is nothing but joy this day, knowing where that is !!
In II Timothy, Chapter 4, Paul says,
"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them that also love his appearing."
Whoever surely deserves the crowns that will be bestowed by a loving God! Every person among the mortals she touched will sparkle as a single jewel on them.
Can you imagine how many that will be?!!
If you're looking down on this thread, who, we now can see you clearly - - -
you shine in the heavens with His Radiance, smiling, and shouting with delight,
"See? I told you how glorious it would be!!
Can't wait until you are here to see for yourself !"
For ourselves, we weep - for you, beloved who, we rejoice - - -

Thanks for sharing Dave.
That is the most beautiful description of our Father's relatonship with his children that I've ever seen. Thank you Star.
Unlike Maggie, dear Carbine, my life is one "on the go". My disease is neurological and does not affect my health. It is merely an aggrevation. A glitch in my neural path in the 5-7th cranial nerves. It causes my eyes to close involunterily and my mouth to do weird things. Nobody knows what causes it and there is no cure. I just go get BOTOX shots around my eyes and that helps enough that I can have enough control to drive where I need to go. Everyone who knows me gets used to seeing my contortions. I have been so blessed that I'm able to keep active and working.
Dear one, I will be here for you in any way that I can help. I do not have Maggie's gifts. I tend to "preach" a lot more than she did. I draw on a vast amount of life experience, as did Maggie. A lot of it was not pleasant. Sometimes I'm less than tactful. It's a trait that I'm working to overcome. I think that Maggie was a role model for a whole bunch of us. We will all try to live up to her gifts. Thank you for so many beautiful insights in your posts. God bless.
Perfect Dave, Perfect.
Now we turn her words into ours as we rejoice her homecoming..
Thank you.
I Miss you, Sweet Lady.
You're welcome .. I find it so touching. Hugs and good thoughts to you, Nan.
Thank you so much: how right and good those words are, and I am so glad you looked them up and shared them here.
Thank you very much for your thoughtful reply. I am glad to know more of your story, and your kind offer will be remembered and cherished. I agree, Maggie is a role model for a whole bunch of us, thank God!
Thank you, Dave, for posting these messages.
Lady X prayer BUMP!!
