You are so right, it was a lovely once-in-a-lifetime day. These things carry us through the muck and mire we encounter from time to time!

I was there last October. What a beautiful place in Simi Valley.
Cleared for takeoff, be aware of holes in the runway

Looks like VNY would be the closest field...Camarillo is probably your better bet.

I wish I had known! We just went there over Memorial Day Weekend. It would have been fun being with a group. You will have a great time. I am sure you will enjoy it. Have fun.
To: ZGuy; Hi Heels
hey, thanks for the BUMP on this matter.
I have just taken the new Reagan Library tour with Aor Force ONE. Spectacular!
I would like to see everyone in the evening for dinner and socialization after the midday library tour.
There was talk of an evening dinner meet. Could someone PM me here with info?
I am looking so forward to this.

Mama, Ah feeeeel your pain. Yes, it is rough out here on the high seas. (Actually, it really has been a bit choppy.) LOL.
Posting from the Internet Cafe aboard the Regal Princess. I do wish we could join you, JimRob and company next Saturday, but as I said earlier, we'll raise a toast to y'all. Have a great time!

I'm doing my level best to get there.
I've got a half tank of gas so I am going to drive half way and hitchhike the rest of the way.
Gotta go, I am the Principal of a school and have to make some tests.

I can send you the portable tell-a-porter via equipment-fax (a nother one of our inventions) if you would like and you can de-pixel your selves and appear for a cameo appearance if you wish to.
Let me kow. Know. Not kow. We are running low on "n"'s.
Let's see some pictures from the Cruize OK? Did you take a photographer with you?

Van Nuys might be closer, but Camarillo is less crowded. FYI.

Dinner is where? I suggest reservations if it's at a restaurant. Let me know if you need suggestions or for someone to make a phone call.

Final Ping for this Saturday at the Reagan Library! --
Lunch - there is a Cafe as well as the picnic area outside. Buy what you want and bring it out by the Berlin Wall if you don't want to pack a lunch. There is outside seating for 100 under the building eaves by the Berlin Wall display. There is also indoor seating in the Cafe but we will meet as a group at Noon, OUTside.
Dinner location will be announced at the Library, or POSSIBLY posted later on this thread. Dinner will be nearby--informal dining.
Attire: Maybe something Patriotic, Black Pajamahadeen Optional ;^)
Name Tags: Freeper Screennames would also be good. If you have a stack of nametags and a Sharpie pen, bring them.
Bring Flags! We might find a use for them at a nearby location, who knows?
P.S. Mark your calendars--the annual Fresno FReeper Rally & Picnic will be the second Saturday in September.
Hope to see you there, remember: come as early as 10am, meet as a group at Noon for lunch OUTSIDE. Ciao. Chow. Both.
