ROTFLOL
One presumes the makers of the adhesive FAILED to pay off
AG Reilly ("Defender of Serial Rapists")as did everyone else.

They are going to have to check every single one of those anchoring bolts. I'm not a mechanical or civil engineer, but that would have to be one heckuva an epoxy to hold up to the stress of several tons of tension over a long period of time.

We are trying to find out now, was that plan implemented.Um... Shouldn't they have found that out after it was supposed to have been done?

I knew it. The problem was found under the Clinton Administration, but Bush ignored all the warnings and failed to provide adequate funds to fix the problem.

Tons of concrete ceiling fall down.
Government concludes: Adhesive Failure.
NSDA.
To: Rummyfan
Exactly. No adhesive is stronger than the surrounding material.
In this case the concrete was DEFECTIVE (but they gave money to Reilly),
so UNFORTUNATELY they are forgiven.

NSDA. What does the "DA" stand for? You can do a "rhymes with" if necessary. ;)

How much do you want to bet MMM or whoever made the epoxy never authorized it's use in an environment like that or they were never consulted to begin with...
(with thermal expansion and contraction of the material it is anchored to and that material being substandard to begin with... WHY not through bolt??)
Now Mass gets to harvest the fruits of their corruption with the original surface roads bulldozed and the tunnel closed ,, commutes must be REAL FUN....

Oh. I shoulda guessed.

Those who make epoxide adhesives KNOW its limitations
and would have wanted increased area, strong support, and
cross beams.
If the BIG DIG construction team had used staples,
then Reilly UNFORTUNATELY would have gone after
the staple maker, too (unless they were also rapists).
Too bad that all Americans must pay for the corruption of these criminals.
