Not a new piece but enlightening insight into Arab military structures.

It's really a whole lot more simple than the gist of this article. The Arab's military strategy is the definition of insanity: Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.....

Mainly because they don't have the a-bomb. But that will change shortly.

I think the only thing you can say that the Arabs do better than anyone else, is their capacity to have those on the food chain serve as suicidal bombers.

Hezbollah and Hamas guerillas are basically uneducated, adolescent, hormone pounding, bullies. Israel needs to disarm them now. Once done a free Lebanon will prosper and there will be peace.

Syria will not join the fight...and Iran will not back Syria when push comes to shove. They are basically cowards.

I hope and pray that the current generation of Israel's military lives up to the abilities of their previous generations. Knowing that your entire civilization will be wiped out if you lose is a great motivator. The Arabs have always known that they can call it quits at anytime and all they loose is territory that they can beg the UN to give back to them.

But they only get to use it once.

Arabic-speaking armies have been generally ineffective in the modern era.

Except for a few isolated victories they were generally ineffective during the crusades.

Armies mirror the of the people society. Arab armies, secretive, vain, thin skinned, covetous, insincere communication, no/low trust, every thing zero sum.

Arabs, some 500 million, including Saudi Arabia, the Emirates, from Morocco on the Atlantic to Iraq, have a combined GDP of less than Spain. It might be lower as many don't keep or release their pathetic economic statistics, and those that do, like Saudi Arabia are not to be trusted.

Not on world class university in the entire Arab world.
The Arab world does not manufacture one single world class product.
Less than 40-50 books of all types, fiction, non fiction, technical are translated into Arabic in a year. More books are translated into Spanish in a year than in the entire history of the Arabic world.

Per capita income something like 1 dollar per person per day. Cultural denigriation of skilled trades and professions and work in general.

I saw a lot of this first hand watching Marines train Iraqis.
It was quite disturbing to see the huge difference in culture.

They're cowards, who think they're brave mixed with a heavy dose of machismo with a total lack of intellect.

A few isolated victories?

Like retaking Jerasulam in 1187 and destroying all the established Christian kingdoms in Syria by 1291.

I dont like the Muslims either but lets not start re writing history

The Koran, Islam = cult. If it walks like a duck, etc.. Islam has kept the Middle East in the ninth century. Independent, critical thinking not encouraged. (Or thinking at all, for that matter.)

They share the Nazi's biggest weakness. Their culture's requirement of total obedience means that they are incredibly slow at reacting to unforeseen circumstances (and in warfare, nothing goes as planned), because they have to wait for their orders before responding. They are not allowed to use initiative, intuition, or creativity, because it is not allowed in their daily lives. Once again, Freedom proves to be an incredibly powerful tool!

How about;

A vocabulary of about 1000 words
the mentality of a piece of toast
The bravery of a lemming,
and the tenacity of a cockroach.
