FBI has over the Crips, the Bloods, and MS-13.

Lets take your analogy a little further.

Say MS-13 had hundreds of rockets that it fired from Brownsville to strike border towns inside Mexico on a regular basis.
Say also that MS-13 crossed the border to kidnap and murder Mexican border agents (such as they are) to use as bargaining chips hoping to secure the release of their jailed members.
Say also that MS-13 regularly tried to send people into Mexico with the sole express purpose of blowing up restuarants, discos, and pizza parlors.

If all of those things were happening wouldn't the Mexican governement have the right to demand the US government do something? And if the US governement chose not to, wouldn't the Mexican government eventually, after years and years of trying to convince the US, be justified in attacking?

I think they would, I think that analogy is what the UN should consider and I think Israel is 100% in the right.

The last thing the Mexican, or the Israeli government would want is to treat this as a criminal matter, rather than a geo-religious war. Criminal behavior imposes restraints on the anti-criminal social construct. War has no restraints, except those that are self-imposed. These self-imposed restraints last only as long as the controller of the military chooses to abide by them.

During WW2, after the Goettge Patrol, the Marines put a low priority on getting Japanese POWs. FDR turned a willfully blind eye to it, altho Elenore hated the Marines and even suggest that they be kept overseas after the war until they could prove they were civilized. Sometime in the very near future, these 7th century hold-outs will commit some act so grotesque that even France won't be able to justify the continued existence of fundamental Islamic beliefs, and Armageddon will begin.

Good analogy, PR and I completely agree with you! Sometimes I wish the U.S could show the same backbone that Israel has. I'd think long and hard before I ever messed with them!
