One theory is the missle was fired from a navy or coast guard ship in the area.
The theory goes that a small plane, filled with explosives, was trying to get close to 800 and do a suicide attack on the plane. (This scenario is probable since 800 was just taking off and could in fact be "caught" by a suitable ga aircraft.)
This theory goes that the gov ship tried to down the light plane and did in fact hit that plane, but that the light plane was already too close to 800 and the subsequent explosions were enough to bring down everything.
The fact is, something happened that day, and it ain't what the clintoons said happened.
