Obviously they have created a poll to validate their preconceived ideas.

More likely, this is a psyop. The media is trying to convince the electorate that they prefer Democrats in order to shift opinion towards Democrats.

They want everyone to believe that everyone else believes the Democrats are better in order to create a peer pressure to vote Democrat.
