Scarborough would have to answer questions about the strange death of a former staff member in 2001

She fell down and hit her head.

I'm interesting in reading how the pro-Harris sycophants will try to spin this article.

I don't like Harris, but Joe Scarborough is a RINO.

Anyone who would whore it up for paycheck at MSNBC and use his show as a vehicle to be Chuck Hagel-like is worth keeping out of the Senate.

Wow. Either KH is bonkers, or at the very least she has some lkist of real enemies. If people like Rollins worked for her and then gave quotes like these, I'd say both propositions are true. Guess there was a reason people like Jeb bothered to come out against her.

With friends like Rollins, you don't need enemies. He is now working with a total lunatic in NY..and hired Terry Lenzner to do dirty work against Spencer the republican candidate.

We have a huge problem here in Florida. Unless some kind of miracle happens, Bill (total airhead) Nelson will get reelected.

Maybe if we can get personalities and personal agendas out of the way, we can find a way of defeating him....but it sure isn't looking good right now.

I thought it was supposed to be the Democrats who are divided.

Senator Bill Nelson at a recent dinner:

"And I specifically told you 'lettuce, tomato, mustard, pickles and no f***ing onion and super-size it'."

''She called people she had no business calling. And when confronted with the insanity of her -- I use this term lightly -- `strategy,' she denied it and tried to blame someone else.''

I fail to see the problem.

It sounds like she would fit right in.

In explaining his decision to leave, campaign manager Glenn Hodas echoed predecessors Jamie Miller and Jim Dornan

Any relation to B-1 Bob?

Anybody ever see The Candidate with Robert Redford? Good stuff, he was running as guaranteed loser candidate. I especially liked the last line in the movie.

I'll put this out there, and no doubt be condemned for it...but I'd sooner see Nelson in the Senate than a Republican who by all accounts has serious emotional/mental problems. Better that the Dems have another seat than we have to deal with someone in a national office with the potential to continually embarrass the party and hurt other GOP candidates by association.

I never kept up with Joe and the dead intern...but he resigned/quit and high tailed it back to Florida in such a hurry it made all our heads spin. I always wondered why. Was someone sending him a message or what?

I live in FLorida, and I honestly don't know what's going on. Somebody today told me that KH is not popular with her staff or anybody else because she's a "phone thrower." That was a term we used to use in NYC for bosses who reacted to anything they didn't like by hurling their phones across the room. May sound funny, but I worked in the communications area for some time and we had to replace many phones because these jerks had smashed them on their desks, thrown them at their secretaries, etc.

If she is a phone thrower, she's no different from many others. No better and no worse. Many high-level people - including many senators - fall into that category.

The big question is whether she would be good at her job. At this point, I really don't know, although there's so much negative press about her that I honestly don't think she has a chance of getting elected. However, we have to remember that she was tough as nails during the miserable 2000 election and simply played by the book and stuck it out, doing nothing positive for Jeb except simply reading the laws and following them - at great personal cost. The problem with phone throwers is that they may be awful to work for, but that same ugly streak can make them great at getting things done.

Isn't is curious how TWO heroes of the 2000 Presidential election debacle in just 6 years turn out to be persona non-grata in the GOP.

I really thought Harris would be a star and honestly thought Joe could take Nelson's seat if he so chose.

Both a big disappointments!

It's just pathetic how Katherine Harris is being paid back for saving the election for Bush in Florida. She only did what the law called for and she was vilified by the press, democrats, etc. She should be up for saint hood.

Joe Scarborough jumped the shark a long time ago. I only needed to watch his show a few times to see where he was coming from.. The dead intern explanation is "Iffy" at best.

The fact Scarborough doesn't like her, doesn't make a bit of difference to me.

What a friggin' mess. Why doesn't the GOP in Florida just concede and give the seat to that twit Nelson and be done with it. Isn't there a Pubbie in Florida who is capable of being a U.S. Senator and who doesn't have a closet full of skeletons, who can run?

Holy cow. I guess not. I'm so sick of this Katherine Harris mess. Excuse me while I go empty my barf bucket.

Search is your friend, duplicate of a dumb story. Considering how Joey has been a complete sell out of the Conservative Movement on his MSNBC show, I say Harris is owed a vote of thanks by the Florida GOP.

Curious how bitter and personally upset with Harris some supposedly "Conservative" Freepers are. Sound just like Moveon.org types still pissed about the 2000 Presidential Election. Why is that?
