Iran is playing with fire. Israel will not hesitate to drop a nuke on Iran if those rockets are fired on Israel.
***BARRAGE OF ROCKETS HIT HAIFA***
Katyusha rockets hit three cities along Israel's northern coast, including Haifa Sunday morning.
Two salvos of several rockets hit Ahuza, a central residential and business district of Haifa. Rockets also landed in the city of Acre and in Nahariya. A rocket also landed in the town of Kiryat Haim located north of Haifa, Channel 2 TV reported.
Channel 10 TV reported of rockets hitting also the Checkpost business district on the Haifa-Nahyaria highway.
Some 20 casualties were reported, mostly suffering from shock and anxiety. Shattered glass caused light injuries to some of the casualties.
From Israeli National news:
IDF Cannot Confirm Reports That Nasrallah is Injured
08:58 Jul 16, '06 / 20 Tammuz 5766
(IsraelNN.com) IDF Chief of Operations Major-General Gadi Eizenkot told Galei Tzahal (Army) Radio on Sunday morning that military intelligence does not have additional information other than the reports appearing in the Arab media.
Eizenkot was referring to reports that Hizbullah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah was injured in Israeli bombing raids over Lebanon.
Eizenkot stated that Israel assumes the terror leader is holed up in a bunker tens of meters (yards) underground, in the Hizbullah area of Lebanon. He stated Israel does not have information regarding his reported injuries, nor can officials deny or confirm reports that he has been moved to another area.
Okay - Does anyone know where I can get some good streaming video (preferably an English Israeli source, next an Hebrew source - after that I'll accept scumbags like CNNi/BBC).
I've only got expanded cable and am stuck with the four losers of re-rundom.
This map is great. Thanks.
There's war in the Middle East.
It must be Sunday.
Wish I had a TV link though.
That Israel Channel 1 was streaming last night....I dont know where the link is now
Since he was scheduled to make a statement Sunday, let's see how it comes about. I imagine the same way that we continue to get reports from Osama. (false)
At least 6 killed in Haifa
Nice to see the Bakaa valley was delived lots of Shalom from the IDF airforce today.

Stream Israel TV from last night: (one English channel)

OK. Who is Chrac talking to? Israel or Hezbollah? He very well knows that Lebanon did not have security and sovereignty before. How can they when a terrorist group holds the whole country hostage?
I've been reading a lot of Lebanese blogs. I'm going to get sick if I hear the word "disproportionate" again.

Smoke rising from Haifa....CNNi war correspondent has his level 4 armor on.
The sounds came from that direction.
According to Channel 10, IDF Naval Commandos operated along the Lebanese coast over the weekend.
In a statement issued Sunday, Hezbollah said it fired "dozens" of rockets at Haifa in retaliation for Israel's airstrikes Saturday night.
Major escalation hitting Hafia like this, also word that in addition to the 9 deaths there are many critical injuries. Many folks here may wake up to an expanded conflict. If Olmert does nothing in response to this the IDF and the general population will have his head. I know many have gone to sleep, anyone awake with any guesses as to how Israel will resond to this.

Olmert went to visit the troops at the front yesterday...I was sure they were going in today!

At least eight people were killed Sunday morning as Katyusha rockets fired from Lebanon hit three cities along Israel's northern coast, including Haifa.
Most of the fatalities were in an Israel Railways garage located near an Israel Electric Corporation installation on Haifa Bay, according to the Magen David Adom director general.
Following the strike, Israel Railways announced it was halting train traffic north of Binyamina.
Perhaps symbolic? I got that tidbit on g-news when searching "Haifa."
