I've been a loyal Nissan customer since 1986 but if they start watering down their brand with UAW crap from GM, I might have to reconsider my loyalty and check out Honda or Toyota. Nissan has been doing a great job with their product line in recent years, especially with the Altima which has been transformed from a run-of-the-mill plain-vanilla sedan to the sporty souped-up top seller it is today. I've had zero problems with Nissans over the past 20 years and I've owned pretty much the entire product line over the years (Altima, Maxima, Quest, etc.).

It also feels good to drive a car made in the United States by non-union people in a red state who are not strong-armed into voting the straight Democratic ticket by their union bosses and who are not represented by corrupt union bosses who absolutely LOVE marxists like Hillary Clinton, Al Gore, John Kerry who funnel millions and millions of dollars into their campaign coffers.

Agreed. My car lineage is: a Chevy Beretta, then a Nissan Sentra, 2 Maximas, a 300ZX Twin Turbo (still have) and now a Murano. As you can see, the Beretta tought me a very important lesson.

So you won't give GM a chance hey? Well, my husband works for GM as do thousands of other Americans. It might interest you to know that all car companies are starting to get their parts from third world countries-thanks to the failure of our government to enforce fair trade policies. Personally, my loyalty is to my country and my fellow Americans-not a foreign car company subsidized by their government (illegal under WTO but when did rules apply to the Japanese)- a government that blocks all foreign competion I might add. There are many forms of treason you know.

I concur with you 100%. I don't get why some here are so bent on beating up Toyota, Honda, And Nissan in an effort to save the UAW. It's not there fault GM and Ford built and now are reaping the benefits of a faulty business model.

I used to have a 96 Honda Accord and I traded it in 2003 for a Ford 150 Supercrew. I regret it now. Needless to say when we bought a new vehicle for the family in 2005 we we skipped the Big three and got a Toyota Sienna. The quality is second to none. When my truck is ready to be traded in I will look at Toyota and Nissan and pick from those two.
