If we accept this analogy, it remains to be seen whether President Bush commits any impeachable offenses--such as perjury and obstruction of justice--while defending himself.

And then it would remain to be seen whether the left would squeal about it, after they insisted that Clinton was within his rights to do the same.

"If we accept this analogy, it remains to be seen whether President Bush commits any impeachable offenses..."

The analogy ends here. Paula sued the President; Valerie is not suing the President. End of analogy.

The press is reporting an investigation into a case where US troops may have raped and murdered civilains overseas.

But the press shows no interest in rape and honor killing stories, nor UN rape cases, nor cases where the Commander in Chief is accused of being a serial rapist and intimidating those who would speak out.

I think the Barry Bonds steroid case is more similar to that of B.J. Clinton's. Bonds is apparently going to be indicted for lying under oath about his steroid use. Isn't it considered "normal" to lie about steroid use?
