Bernie Goldberg Slams Ann Coulter - "Ann should be on his 100 or 110 people who screw up America"

Longtime CBS News reporter Bernard Goldberg had a lot to say about Ann Coulter – some of it negative – during a radio interview promoting his book.

Goldberg’s "100 People Who Are Screwing Up America (and Al Franken is #37)” was published last year, and an updated version – upping the list to "110 People” – recently came out in paperback. The book takes to task Michael Moore, Ted Kennedy, David Duke, Michael Jackson, Jimmy Carter and an array of others on the American scene.

Goldberg now says he made a "mistake” in not including Coulter as one of the people "screwing up America.”

Bernie may be getting on the wrong side of me.

I'll bet a lot of people may be thinking that he, Bernie, should be on the 110 people screwing up America. Or 120, if he updates his list.

I read two of his books on CBS and Bias. He seems to be an alright guy. I saw an interview where he said he agrees with AC, but thinks that her delivery is too harsh and turns off potential converts.

I agree with him. It's not what she said but how she said it. She addded no meaningful discussion but more of the same trash talking expected from liberals. I love Ann but she was wrong on this one.

Bernie strikes me as being an honest and decent guy. If he doesn't like Ann that's OK.

Only marginally related: I will never forget the first time I saw Bernie Goldberg on BOR. He clearly stated that he was a liberal. I heard it from his own mouth. Since that time years ago I have never heard him repeat that claim.
