I'm not sure what you did, but no.

(100/26,783,383)*100,000=0.37 persons per 100,000 per day, 136 per 100,000 per year.

(28/26,783,383)* 100,000=0.10 persons per 100,000 per day or 38 per 100,000 per year.

The check is to reverse the calculation. there are 267.83 100,000's in 26,783,383. So 0.37 * 267.83 should equal 100, and I get 99 which is due to rounding the 0.37 to two digits.

"100 per day? 365,000 per year? More than Hussein? "

Bad math day? 100 * 365 = 36,500 not 365,000.

All but the willfully blind can see that Iraq is a disaster. As William F. Buckley said recently, "If you had a European prime minister who experienced what we've experienced [in Iraq] it would be expected that he would retire or resign."

I suspect it is a fraction of the daily civilian deaths under Saddam Hussain. After all he had death prisons and torture racks as a normal part of the society.

This is Islam in its prime, under the external test tube of democracy it is achieving far more than it would on its own. It is death, murder and destruction, but it is not democracy's fault. Other cultures achieve far more under democracy, as democracy is a structure that allow all facets of a society to be productive.

Islam's aspirations are death and destruction, so they are achieving it with all facets of society.

Besides, there are a hundred civilian deaths in America daily. Democracy does not deliver circuses, it delivers the freedom to express who you are in society.

Muslims are murderers. Its their religion, their highest aspirations. Democracy is helping them express themselves, nothing more.
