This is, in my opinion, an Arab pipe-dream, but keep it in mind when the morons come with their "disproportionate response" nonsense.

If the missiles are the same small bombs they have been launching, nobody needs to go anywhere except their basements. If they are nuclear, one hour is not enough time to do anything but contribute to the disaster.

Sure, get more civilians out into the street and if a missile happens to reach that far, better chance of higher casualties.

I wonder if Israel could flatten south Lebanon in, oh, say, 45 minutes.

The Arab sources further said that the Hizbullah has been very careful in cultivating its public image, in order to increase the surprise effect of the planned barrage on Tel Aviv. "And we carefully only let you think we are complete morons who start what they can't finish and are weak and incompetant, so that when we do use our super-secret laser-powered missile weapon thingy it will really impress you! Infidels! You will roast in the stomache of Hell!"

The very moment that this warning is issued by Hizbollah Israel should give Syrians thirty minutes to evacuate Damascus.

Nasrallah the cleric?? If he hits the city after this threat---Israel should take out all mosques within a 100 mile radius.
To: claudiustg
He's lying.
He, and the fanatical members of his religion, have stated time after time how glorious it is to kill Jews.
Why would he give warning?
I'm not entirely sure, but I know its not to spare the lives of Jews.
===
I'll speculate:
- He only has a small number of ineffective missles left. He hopes to create more deaths by a panic than the missles possibly could.
- He hopes to maximize terror.
- He believes that Europe will see this as a humane gesture, and thus will gain their sympathies.
- He hopes to hit the fleeing Jews where they will be at risk out in the open rather than tucked safely away in one of many of Israel's well established shelters.

They ran this story yesterday. MSM did not pick up on it. Sean Hannity just mentioned it on his show. I guess the MSM does not read Isreal National news or other Jewish news services?

The Lebanese resistance is preparing a retaliation parallel to Israel's military actions Has the call from the UN to show patience and restraint been sent to them yet?
I thought not.
To: claudiustg
I would think that the Israeli's could track the source of 500 missiles. I wouldnt want to be anywhere close to where they came from.

"The Lebanese resistance is preparing a retaliation parallel to Israel's military actions. Hassan Nasrallah will address the people of Tel Aviv and warn them to evacuate the city within one hour. As soon as the delay ends, hundreds of heavy missiles will start landing in the city, which has been divided into squares in order to let damage reach every inch of the city. An estimated 500 missiles are expected to land in Tel Aviv in a short period of time."
First, this spokesperson refers to Nasrallah as speaking for the Lebanese resistance, not just Hezbollah. Whom should the world believe, this spokesperson or the Lebanese government spokespersons who claim zero responsibility?
Second, the claim to have in excess of 500 missiles targeted on Tel Aviv is pure posturing. The only weapons Hezbollah has in that number are Katyusha rockets. And 500 Katyushas have less destructive power than a single U.S. field artillery battery (8 cannons) can deliver in a few hours. Unless the Katyushas have been modified to carry chemicals rather than high explosives the disproportionate response will be Israel's counterbattery fire leveling as many launch sites as they can acquire.
To: claudiustg
Hezbollah is providing a stronger argument every day for Israel to annex the southern half of Lebanon after the current scuffle ends. At this point, it sounds like Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Jordan wouldn't even object.

Sweet, one hour to launch a pre-emptive nuclear barrage!
