Any conservative in Cailfornia in 06 that doesn't see the threat posed by a double-Klintoon endorsed candidate deserves whatever comes his or her way.

The ilk should stop pretending to be conservatives. ...

They'll continue, as long as there are stupid ones who swallow their baloney.

MOre misdirection.

Any conservative who doesn't actually vote for Arnold, IS helping Angelides. Staying home, not voting for Gov, or voting third party, ALL result in Arnold getting fewer votes, and may result in him getting fewer votes than Angelides and Angelides winning.

Please stop the pretense -- you are on record of saying that you would find an Angelides victory totally acceptable.

You continue to twist away, have you no shame?

Never address what is posted to you, just use that lame logic and use a disparaging comment, I guess it's the best you can do.. I forgive you, I know it's not your fault.

Blame it on Global Warming.

Thanks for posting, marshal.

I remembered your analysis so thought I would reference it.
It seems that party-myths are favored by some, over history and analysis.

Man, I feel sorry for you. Every thread you post attracts the same tired group of liberal tools. Any positive mention of Arnold brings out the ad hominem attacks galore from the "anything is better than Arnold" crowd. Naturally, they haven't any sort of alternative to offer except giving it all up to the Democrats - a thought which clearly doesn't trouble them and, from the looks of it, delights them.

This is going to be a great election, great because once again actual Republicans and thoughtful Independents are going to prevent the liberal tools from getting a true horror like Angelides elected.

Im voting for Arnold. AGAIN. He is not what I hoped he would be by any stretch. But I would rather hold ground than lose any to stinking democrats. I hope a conservative will follow Arnold. McClintock comes to mind, though I am still angry at him for not dropping out during the recall election. He was not a team player back then and we could have ended up with Bustemente. Still, we need a real conservative in office here, I feel it is far more likely to happen if Arnold is re-elected. I dont care what past history says. California is wacked. There is no rhyme or reason to this electorate and I think I am right on Arnold paving the way for a conservative Governor one day.

all that shows is that sometimes Dems get elected, sometims Republicans -- that's the nature of elections. Where is cause and effect? Are you going to tell us next that it was a good thing to have had Bill Clinton for 8 years, and otherwise George Bush wouldn't have gotten elected?

I guess logic and reasoning is not your strong suit.

Now show me the demographics of those states.

CALIFORNIA VOTER AND PARTY PROFILES

http://www.ppic.org/content/pubs/JTF_VoterProfilesJTF.pdf

"The Democratic Party currently has an advantage of 1.4 million voters over the Republican Party (7.1 million to 5.7 million) or 9 percentage points (43% to 34%), according to the Secretary of State.

Among those most likely to vote in this year’s elections, Democrats outnumber Republicans by a 7-point margin (44% to 37%), while 15 percent of likely voters are registered as independents.

... the fact that independents are more likely to lean toward Democrats than Republicans (42% to 28%) tends to work to the disadvantage of the GOP in statewide elections."

"The ilk ain't the base."

BINGO. Truer words were never spoken! The ilk just likes to pretend that they are part of the base, to try to con real conservatives into voting for the Dems.

REAL conservatives SUPPORT Arnold.

California Republicans: Arnold's No RINO! (Conservatives Support Him)

“The Democrats of Sacramento represent a tax-and-spend agenda that is not likely to change,” wrote the GOP’s “great right hope” of ‘02, Bill Simon Jr., in the latest American Spectator. “The governor could go a long way if he represented a stark contrast to that agenda. People like candidates with a vision, and Schwarzenegger has a reform-minded one.”

On the balance, Arnold’s been a great governor,” Scott Baugh, former GOP state legislator and now chairman of the Orange County Republican Party, told me. “His first act was cutting $4 billion from the budget. His second act, the repeal of the car tax, resulted in $12 billion back to the taxpayers. Worker’s compensation claims have dropped 40%. That sends a huge signal to business that California is serious about welcoming new jobs.”

Like other conservatives, Baugh hopes that a Schwarzenegger re-election this fall will give the state GOP what he calls “a bench,a conservative bench—Tom McClintock as lieutenant governor and Chuck Poochigian as attorney general.” Both candidates are strong conservatives across-the-board and rated better than even chances to emerge triumphant over far-left Democratic foes this November.

You said 'hope' earlier in this post. I agree and hope that you're right. Thats about all we have, hope. If you listen to what KellyAdmirer rightfully termed 'liberal tools', you'll have nothing but defeat. The ilk herd, those California liberal tools who would have us waste our vote are nothing but fifth columnists, polluting the group from the inside.

"all that shows is that sometimes Dems get elected, sometims Republicans -- that's the nature of elections."

You SCREAMED out a question: "HOW MANY TIMES DID A CONSERVATIVE GOVERNOR FOLLOW A LEFT LIBERAL ONE?" I answered it, and now that you don't like it, you're just giving the rest of us a load of rationalizing bull$hit. Typical.

"Where is cause and effect? Are you going to tell us next that it was a good thing to have had Bill Clinton for 8 years, and otherwise George Bush wouldn't have gotten elected?"

Cause = Liberal Democrat elected. Effect = Conservative Republican replacement. Cause = Liberal RINO elected. Effect = Liberal Democrat replacement. Get it ? Got it ? Good.

"I guess logic and reasoning is not your strong suit."

You had your hypocritical, lying ass handed you, so all you can do is dish out insults to people who have more than a single brain cell. Grow up, kid.

Oh, give me a break.

You've been throwing out the "fifth column" conspiracy theory for the whole time you've been at FR--against anyone that doesn't support your moderate agenda.

Arnie will win in a landslide. The only question is, will he continue pushing his liberal agenda with the blessing of the (M)ilk and the CAGOP or will any of you moderates speak out and try to hold him accountable for being a REPUBLICAN?

Global warming, big spending, big borrowing, liberal judges, etc. etc. etc.
How come the (M)ilk never seems to object to this?
