If Lieberman loses the primary but wins reelection as an Independent, he will return to the Senate no longer bound by loyalty to his Senate caucus.

Lieberman said he would align with the RATS as an independent. He may flirt with aligning with the GOP just to make Harry Reid give him the committee assignments he wants, but Lieberman is a liberal at heart.

It's actually happening, there will(might) be a General Election for the Senate race in Connecticut. Figures this comes out a week after the Republican goes down the tubes.

It will also mean certain defeat for the Dems in 2006.

If they can not support Lieberman, then Americans will not support them.
