I'll bet a dollar to a donut that if the drive-by media (credit Rush) would investigate they (the drive-by media) would find the well funded illegal's lobbies, supporting this invasion, are being funded under the table with moose money.
With all due respect to Rush, the term "hit and run media" makes much more sense.
Yes, drive-by connotates a gang who sprays the area with bullets, and then leaves, but to some it also confers the idea of a vehicle which simply 'drives by' looking at the situation.
