U.S. opposed to cease-fire with Hezbollah (misleading title by AP)

These MISLEADING headlines to stories by the liberal media gets my blood boiling!

TITLE: U.S. opposed to cease-fire with Hezbollah

LEAD IN: WASHINGTON - The United States held the line Thursday against a quick cease-fire deal in the Middle East, increasingly isolated as world powers and the United Nations demanded an immediate end to fighting between Israel and Hezbollah militants.

* And NOWHERE in the article did one single US official suggest such a thing!

SEAN MCCORMACK: "He was talking about a cessation of violence in the context of a lasting, durable solution, which is exactly what we have been talking about," said State Department spokesman Sean McCormack.

TONY SNOW: "We'd love to have a cease-fire," White House spokesman Tony Snow said. "But Hezbollah has to be part of it. And at this point, there's no indication that Hezbollah intends to lay down arms."

AP: John Bolton, the U.S. ambassador to the U.N., said it was time for the Security Council to start considering a response, but he, too, ruled out a cease-fire.

JOHN BOLTON: "I think it's a very fundamental question how a terrorist group agrees to a cease-fire," Bolton said. "How do you hold a terrorist group accountable? Who runs the terrorist group? Who makes the commitments that the terrorist group will abide by a cease-fire? What does a terrorist group think a cease-fire is?"

The MSM continues to prove its anti-American, anti-military, anti-everything but liberalism position. They prove it daily -- just reading this crap is bad enough but makes to point.

The media is treasonous trash. Where do these liberal morons really think their anti-American attitude is going to take them down the road??? Liberals never consider the consequences of their actions...

"U.S. opposed to cease-fire with Hezbollah"

I wouldn't care if the U.S. actually DID oppose a cease-fire with Hezbollah.

I'm thrilled at the prospect of Israel wiping these terrorists off the face of the earth.

As anybody with any decency should be.

Another misleading headline by the drive-by media. That is old news but worth repesting with the real news.

Basically, they think this attitude is going to keep the reporters and stringers who feed them stories from being kidnapped, held for ransom, and beheaded. That's what it comes down to, in my opinion.

I wish the US would oppose a cease-fire with Hezbollah. I fear that they are a little squishy on that point, but for the moment continue to hold firm. I suspect from the peculiar wording that Bush is holding firm, while the State Department is reflexively looking for wiggle room. Why? Because thats all they know. Thats their skill. If to a hammer every problem is a nail, to an empty suit every problem requires a meeting.

The UN, on the other hand, is frantic to save the lives of Hezbollah killers. They are a money laundering operation that needs war for their peculiar scam to work. If Israel actually crushes the killers, and Lebanon is set free, and there is no further war, thats all fine for them, but it does the UN mafia no good at all.

The media isn't biased against America, they are militantly opposed to everything we do, everything we stand for. Every msm story is printed or spoken in a fashion that tries to make the U.S. look bad. Every msm headline about the U.S. is corrupted to twist the truth. I don't know how those who work in the msm can look at themselves in the mirror every day and then go about their business of perverting reality and outright lying for a living. They are driven by hatred for Bush and all conservative principles, and hatred is the most corrupting influence on people there is.

The title is actually accurate in mainstreammedia speak. In the Middle East, as is well known, "cease-fire" means Israel ceases while their enemies continue to fire. The Bush Administration, to their dismay, doesn't see the sense in that at the moment.
