My Gosh, a brand newbie. Welcome to FR. Quite an accomplishment to put up a live thread the first evening. Not a troll, are you (we'll know soon enough!). Not meant to be disrespectful, but we have too many coming around these days.

To answer you're question, the only one I know of is the last song just before Kate Smilth. From Batchelor's FAQ page:

http://www.johnbatchelorshow.com/

Q) What's the song you always play just before Kate Smith sings, "God Bless America," at the very end of each show?

A) Al Bowlly sings, "Midnight, the Stars and You" by Ray Noble and His Orchestra; recorded in London on February 16, 1934.

Heh, no, not a troll. I promise. Is it bad to create a thread linking to a live radio show? Batchelor is pretty darn good, you might want to give it a listen.

Good question. I think he mixes it up as it's not always the same. At one point, I was pretty sure he was playing something from the soundtrack of Gladiator

Right, I did look at his FAQ. But I am looking for the other music he plays. I have searched Google, Yahoo, MSN, Snap, Clusty, and Dogpile...only to find nothing. Sheesh. I have e-mailed him twice about it, I figure that's enough.

Excellent beginning by John -- equating Lebanon/Israel to Spain in 1936 -- No direct mention of Hitler and his goons during the SCW -- let's pretend about the peasants and landowners, the Catholics and [didn't catch it]. The same is true here -- not mentioned is Iran!!

Not at all, I've done one or two myself. Just unusual and suspicious to do it the day before your sign-up date (I know about why your signup date is tomorrow -- no mystery there). And yes, I like to listen to John, he a unique and eclectic radio personality, to be taken with a gain of salt sometimes, but otherwise an excellent listen.

Don't you worry, he'll get into Iran soon enough.

Contact the webmaster and/or his research assistant, Noah Rothman, and ask for their help. I think a lot of his listeners are similarly interested.

Used at the end of The Shining when the true nature of Jack's connection to the house is revealed.

Not one American voted for Kofi Annan. The UN can pack sand. They have zip, zero, nada authority.

Kofi...whew, what a bum. I can't wait until he's out of office. But could the next Secretariat of the United Ninnies be worse?

Underground bunkers, previously undetected, well protected were found full of Hezzies who attacked the IDF.
