I'd like to see our army look at the .260 Remington. It's a 6.5 mm a little hotter than the 6.5 Swede. It's highly accurate, modest recoil, proven killer, and highly shootable without a lot of blast.

You should probably also mention that it uses the same brass as .308, being essentially a 6.5mm-08, so it would fit any existing systems that handle 7.62x51 NATO brass.
