What a beautiful rant. And I concur with every word of it.

Our Congressional Republicans have really let us down, and I'm not sure I'll ever really forgive them for not standing with our president in a time of war.

What's really shocking to me is that when Clinton declared a little mini war on Iraq during the height of the impeachment scandal, Republicans pulled back and supported him.

So they supported a democrat president who only acted out of a desire to save his presidency rather than a real threat to the nation, but they couldn't and mostly didn't support a Republican president during a time of real danger. It speaks volumes about Congressional Republicans and none of it is to their credit.

If you're at war with every Muslim, no matter who, where, what they're like, etc. you must kill them for being Muslim. You must kill the Iraqis that are already fighting and dying on our side. You must kill the Muslim leaders of all the nations no matter what they are like. The King of Jordan must die instead of meeting with our President. All Jordanians even the ones who helped us kill Zarqawi must themselves be killed. (Don't bother spouting some nonsense about all we have to do is wipe out Mecca and Medina.) Not to mention the millions of Muslims and their blood running in the streets of America.

No, what we need are people leading us who aren't dumber than a box of rocks, who will exploit the divisions and anachronisms and fissures and weaknesses of that religion and it's nations and peoples, and work with some of them against the others.

In other words, allies from within their own ranks. Which is what we are doing, because the leadership we have isn't dumber than a box of rocks, thank God.

People like Santorum WANT it to be WW3 or 4 because they have been utterly defeated in domestic politics and long for a replacement for the Cold War to make themselves sellable and relevant. The main threat to the West from Islam is Muslim immigration. Islamic terrorism in the West is a result of that immigration and the self-loathing, suicidal attitude that invited it. Is Ricky-boy on the record calling for an end to Muslim immigration into the U.S. and West? You can bet your ass he's not. Wouldn't be prudent, wouldn't be PC.

Al Qaeda already have a "corporate/govt" connection in the mullahocracy that runs Iran, the Taliban gov. that ran Afghanistan for 6 years, the Hizbollan Jihadistan in S. Lebanon, and the socialist Islamic republic of Libya--not to mention the Baathist ideal of Islamic socialism. That is plenty of political/ideological grist for any eutopian Islamic jihadist to draw from. The nationalism comes from the concept of the ummah, i.e., the unified body of Muslims united under a single khalifa. Sounds facist to me. Ever see these clowns goose-step? There have been persistent attempts in the Muslim world to build a synthesis of Communism and Islam. The Baath Party was one attempt. Hizbollah is another. Libya's Qaddafi has tried to do the same as well a Ben Bella of Algeria. Many Muzzies see the primitive ideals of Islam's founder and the Communist ideals of wealth redistribution as completely compatible. See chap. 9, "II. I cannot see how any one could be so wrong. The war has already started. Remember 9-11. Well there will be more 9-11s and eventually WMDs will be used by the radical muzzies. No question about it. I think we ought to finally treat this as the war it actually is and bring back the draft, drill for every once of oil we can outside the ME, start rebuilding our industrial base, eliminate most immigration both legal and illegal. Round up people who don't belong here and send them home. That much I agree with you about and it may well get to that point some time in the near future. Let a suitcase nuke go off in downtown DC or NYC and you can make book on it.

By their own definition, a Muslim can't be anything more than a temporary ally with an Infidel.

eg The US's ally Pakistan cotinues to aid the Taliban, distribute nuclear know how to other Muslim States.

eg The Saudis who continue to fund militant Wahabi Islamic teaching throughout the world.

The leadership in Jordan, the exception you mention, is not militant, because it's power base is the Bedouin, and not the Arab.
