There was a reporter for NBC, that was embedded during the invasion, I can't remember his name, but at one point he got hit by shrapnel and got a few cuts and while they were cleaning him up, he was stilld describing what was going on around him. I think he went into Baghdad with his group, I remember they were in fairly heavy fighting. Seemed like he got his nose messed up. I want to say it was MSNBC or NBC. They shoudl get this guy to replace him.

Had this happened to Shep, he would have been screaming and crying that the world was coming to an end.

Reading the comments of a handful of freepers means nothing next to the 2+ million viewers Shep gets nightly. I suppose Ailes should read anti-OP'Reilly threads too, and ignore the 2+ million viewers HE gets every night? If I recall correctly, O'Reilly is the number one show on Fox and has been for a few years now, followed by Hannity, then Greta, then Shep.

So let's review, three of the top four shows on Fox are the most obnoxious, brainless shows on the channel. And let's face it, Hannity's TV show is pretty brainless as well. The only halfway decent show on the channel is Brit, and his ratings are consistently lower than all the afformentioned shows.

In summary, Ailes knows his business very well. The dumber the show, the better the ratings.
