ON THE ISRAEL-LEBANON BORDER — The commander of Israeli ground forces said Saturday that the Israeli army has won control of a village in southern Lebanon that allows troops to overlook Hezbollah command posts in the area.
Maj. Gen. Benny Gantz also said the soldiers had found a mosque in Maroun al-Ras that contained stockpiles of weapons, including rockets.
"The forces have completed, more or less, their control of the area of the village Maroun al-Ras, and there have been lots of strikes against terrorists," Gantz told a new conference in Tel Aviv on Saturday night. "It was a difficult fight that continued for not a short time."
The soldiers — backed by artillery and tank fire — moved into Maroun al-Ras in several waves and took control, military officials said.

This can't be. How can the religion of peace allow this? Obviously our military must be wrong. It's all Bush's fault.

They oughta go to the home of the Imam, bring him to the mosque, then sit and wait while he and some of his followers carry every weapon out into the courtyard, then watch as the Israelis blow them up!
The Israelis are too frugal for that, they will take them home and sell them to Freedom Fighters inside of Iran.

I just can't believe this! From the Iraq experience, we must question this. We know its not a stockpile unless its arranged with 3 rockets on the bottom row, 2 rockets on the middle row, and one on the top.
