From mid-1993 to spring '97 I lived in the apartment complex across Madera Rd. from the library entrance. (It's below the lip of Madera, and the entrance is on Country Club Dr.) I visited the library on a number of occasions, and my favorite spot is by the fragment of the Berlin Wall where you can see most of Ventura County.

I was there last Thanksgiving, saw Air Force One and bought a shirt at the gift shop.

Make sure you go to the gravesite and say a prayer for Ron. The last time I was there, I saw people with tears in their eyes.

During my visit the gravesite was closed, a bunch of messicans were planting roses. The Gipper was reaping a little of what he sowed.
