We got rid of the Baathists in Iraq, now it's time to do the same in Syria.

What Syria has probably done is discovered that we've infiltrated their intelligence network.
This is a quick way to tell Al Qaeda agents to move.

No need Syria, we will get the information when we invade your country, overthrow your rulers, and convert you all to Judaism.

Guess it's getting mighty hot in their kitchen. We'll just have to wait and see if there's any truth to it. Hope so...

If this is true, Syria might go the way of Libya.

You have to put these statements through the muslim language translator. Then it reads:
the Syrians were offering to tell the US lie about where many fundamentalists were.

If true, then it appears as if Bashar al-Assad has taken to heart the lessons from his father, Hafez al-Assad. His father supported terrorists, but when things got hot, he always knew how to placate the United States. The son is doing the same but it is time to throw him overboard. Let him go, let him drown. We'll worry about leadership later.

"Syria offers to be an intermediary between Iran and the United States" and "Syria can play an important role in Iraq". Okie-doakie then, Mr. Salem, let's talk locations of Saddam's WMD in Syria and/or Lebanon, shall we?

Sounds to me like the Syrians are getting the message loud and clear. This is a part of the results of the Iraqi campaign. They now can see their neck is next on the chopping block.

Hezb. are shia. Iran wants shia control. I would bet my last dollar that Ahmadinejad told Assad to give up sunni-affilated terrorists. It makes it sound like Damascus is doing a good deed. In fact, it would give more control to Hezb. and to Iran.

Al Qaeda is being systematically wiped out in Lebanon. Syria is shaking in its booties. Assad knows that his military forces are weak and their equipment is old.
Here are some interesting images. The first is of a broken store front window with a photo of Hezbollah leader Nasrallah. The store is located in South Beirut. The city was sold out by its own government. A government that was controlled by Syria and Hezbollah.
The other photo is of what used to be the Hezbollah stronghold in Beirut. Hezbollah and al Qaeda are the same animal. One is a white animal with black stripes. The other a black animal with white stripes. Same difference. [More Photos?] Now just smoking ruins.

If they are telling this to journalists two rules apply - If their lips are moving they are lying
- They want to use the media for propaganda purposes to advance their agenda
