Lindsey has never set a date for the rapture or the 2nd Coming. You must be cinfusing him with others who have.

Also, Hal knows full well tha Isaish wrote approx. twenty seven hundred and fifty years ago, not seven hundred and fifty. It's a typo, people. Get down off your high horses.

I disagree with Lindsey on many things, but some of these attacks on him on this thread are inaccurate and infantile.

Russia has always backed the ragheads against Israel and the U.S. What is so hard about accepting the fact that they are doing so again?

See how easy it is to make typos? I see my previous post has at least 2 of them.

You are wrong. He said the beginning of Israel in 1948 was the start of the last generation, and a generation lasts 30 years, so minus 7 for a rapture, would mean 1971. But without it happening he changed a "generation" to mean 40 years. Christ was supposed to come, according to false prophets, like Hal Lindsey, Chuck Smith, Travesty Broadcasting Network: in 1981.

Scripture instead says we are to be ready every day. We are to preach Jesus, not speculate on things not revealed.
