How does the parent bear responsibilty? If the mirror was not properly secured and it resulted in the death of the child, then Wal-Mart is liable.

You know, there are cases where businesses are to blame when people are injurred and/or killed.

You are of course correct. But there are also things such as freak accidents, where there really is no one at fault.

She was not watching her child. The child was THREE! He should have been right next to her, even hand-holding. It is not up to society to babysit.
