Wow. The article you linked seems pretty biased for illegals.

When I read the article this morning I was incredulous. What part of illegal don't people understand?

It's as if being an "illegal immigrant" is on a par with driving 66 in a 65 MPH zone.

As long as they pick the citrus, strawberries and other crops for crap wages then it's a "wink, wink; okey-dokey thing" to be one.

Talking with one guy the other day and he said the citrus industry depends on illegals and would go bust if it wasn't for the cheap labor. I asked him, "So, it is better to pay 10 cents less for a grapefruit and $100 more for an ER visit to have illegals living here?"

Many of our farmers have passed up the use of high technology, because of all the available cheap labor. We are now all losing out.
