Chris Matthews and Pat Buchanan got on my nerves this weekend.
Matthews sputters that if the "neoconservatives" had "been in a schoolyard fight in high school like they should have been, we wouldn't be seeing the world we're getting from them today."
Buchanan blusters: "They're calling for wars against people that never attacked us. I don't care how bad they are. There are wicked people all over this world but you don't go after people unless they come after you."
One way to cure their ignorance and amnesia would be to clock them over their heads with The Legacy of Jihad and wallpaper their offices with Imad Mugniyah's most wanted FBI banners.
Or they could be forced to take a tour of the gravesites of Americans killed by Hezbollah jihadists over the last quarter-century.

The other day, I read on FR that Pat Buchanan was opposed to U.S. involvement in both world wars.
If that's true, that tells us all we need to know.

ROFL...To most everyone but Pat Buchanan right now, she really ripped him and rightfully so.
Saw the video earlier and he deserved everything she gave him.
I can agree the US had no business in WWI, since the allies victory in WWI led to the radical French secularizm that now sadly dominates Europe.

Excuse me, Mr. Buchanan, I seem to remember a date 9/11/01 and a couple of buildings falling down. Oh, and a couple of thousand people dying. Then the Khobar barracks, the USS Cole and others.
I think they've been "coming after us" for a long, long time. I don't think they're ready to quit yet either. I don't think they'll quit until they set off a nuke in NYC.
Be kinda late then to "go after them" then dontcha think? Maybe a little ounce of prevention might be a good idea?
That was in refult to President Wilsons meddleing in the then European war. And a Germany dominated by the Kaiser would have execuated a certain Adolf in the 20s, it certainly would have been better than the failed German Republic.
In WWII, the US had no choice but to get involved, but in WWI, there was a choice, sadly Wilson was president at the time, and set in motion events that would further devastate Europe.
Nah, we didn't need to get involved. Once Hitler had conquered Europe, Asia and South America, he would have stopped. Everyone knows he didn't have world domination as his ultimate goal.
