Pacifists are the first to turn in the likes of the Ann Frank family or other political undesirables to the state. They have a narcissist perspective on society where people exist only to further their own desires. Those who fail to serve their purposes do not need to exist. If the state can further their purposes, the more power for it.

Excellent article!
He's learned that terror is his alone,
Discovered he can come for your people with no fear,
Of reprisal; he's found no fighting, here,
But only food, only delight.
He murders as he likes, with no mercy, gorges
And feasts on your flesh, and expects no trouble.

The pacifist is as surely a traitor to his country and to humanity as is the most brutal wrong doer.”

"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself." --John Stuart Mill

Yes, take the “War is NEVER the answer” signs you see.
They must agree that violence should NEVER be used.
But, they expect people WITH GUNS to show up, and use violence or the threat thereof in order to keep them safe if they are threatened.

And, if enough muggers/thugs/criminals met with armed resistance,
the new crop of criminals would maybe choose a less dangerous trade.
