My dad remembers in the 30's one saluted the flag with an open-palmed right handed salute. Apparently he's not the only one who rememebers:
"...at assemblies where the national anthem is played, I must suppress the urge to snap out my right arm." - G. Gordon Liddy
THIS is goose-stepping....
As is this.....
In 1941, Haj Amin al-Husseini fled to Germany and met with Adolf Hitler, Heinrich Himmler, Joachim Von Ribbentrop and other Nazi leaders. He wanted to persuade them to extend the Nazis anti-Jewish program to the Arab world.
Yep. Locked knee.
I also wonder if the "Prussian Salute" is a coincidence.
I mean other countries used it prior to and after the Nazis.
(Note, not doubting the link to Nazis. Heck he had a muslim general. Just would like confirmation that this was not some old/parallel custom.)
Warning! This is a high-volume ping list.
Did you see the ping re: the 1200 year old Psalm copy recovered today in a bog in Ireland?
(The visble text was a lament of nations attacking Israel.)
Nothing new there. Nazis and sand nazis; the only difference is in their filthy nughtshirts..
"And we'll heil, pfttt, heil, pfft, right in Der Fuhrer's face!"
"Those that do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it."
"Uhhh...that's not goose-stepping"
Duck walk, goose step.... .
You know? If you t hrow Democrat party in there you pretty much nailed it.
Mark
Can you tell us where your first, second, third, fourth, and sixth photos were shot? Obviously, since the signs were in English, they're fron English speaking countries. One of these days, those banners will spark riots in the streets of western cities and the Muzzies carrying them will be paying the price for their in-your-face bigotry!
Go here and work backwards for links related to the photos:

Bear in mind the English is used for the benefit of the press corps.
This almost made me laugh. Almost.
You are absolutely correct. You can see ancient Roman statues performing the same activity. Hail Caeser is, essentially the same and Heil Hitler.
Also even Nazi symbols are adopted from elsewhere. Swatikas are ancient symbols of luck and still found throughout India. Often juxtaposed with the star of David - also a symbol of good fortune (male and female - upward and downward triangles intertwined)
