Today, President Bush welcomed Iraqi Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki in the Oval Office at the White House, and together they held a joint press availability in the East Room, speaking of a plan to increase the military presence and quell the violence in Baghdad.

Later today, the President met with Minni Arcua Minnawi, the Sudan Liberation Army (SLA) leader in the Oval Office to discuss the Darfur region in western Sudan.

I got the digital top box I was after on ebay this evening. There had been several of them the one I got was more than third cheaper than if I bought one locally.

Glad to hear it. I've been married 12 years and am still on my honeymoon. Nice to know it won't end. ;-) Must go to bed now, early morning tomorrow. See ya!

The hot weather and bad air levels did not suit him. A friend has lent us a fan which helps.

Can I ask for prayers tomorrow for my friend Phil who has a third interview for a new job involved in quality control to do with labeling pharmaceutical products.

It comes from the Lord, and it radiates from his face..........and sometimes his shoulders as well. :)

No question about it.

Maliki left his papers on the podium.....

President Bush has more awareness of other persons needs than anyone else I have ever observed. That is why he can always match their walking cadence, for example. What a wonderful host he is to notice his guest leaving his notes behind.

We are out of the high 90s/low 100s and feel as though it has cooled off! However, everyone has AC, and I know that makes a huge difference. I hope it cools off for you soon, and that your dad can be comfortable. Prayers for the interview.

I am off to iron like Deb, and watch a Cosby DVD with the kids.

***High 80s but tomorrow it is rumoured will be in the 90s***

ARGHHHH! Run and hide. RUN AND HIDE! Just kidding. We just had a week of high 80s and one 90, and I'm still recovering. But that's just me! I'm sure you'll be fine and don't forget the shorts.

He's like an attentive father without being patronizing, maica.

I agree............he has a gift that I've never seen in anyone else.

Of course you can ask for prayers for Phil's possible job.
