Donnie Deutsch happened to be in the right place at the right time.
Donald Trump used his firm in the first two seasons of NBC's The Apprentice as a judge on some advertising tasks. About this time, CNBC started and stopped The Dennis Miller Show and then The John McEnroe Show. Deutsch is now filling that time slot with his show, I guess as a "discovered" NBC talent.
