Ugggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... this plan is even worse than the Senate RINOs Open Borders immigration proposal. It sure doesn't sound pro-enforcement to me. As a plan, it deserves to die unloved and unlamented.

Under the Pence-Hutchison plan -- a variation on a proposal Mr. Pence floated earlier this summer -- the expansive "guest"-worker program would not begin until the president certified that the border had been secured. Hilarious.

you are right. Because of this I no longer consider myself republican. I live in alabama, and there are hispanics EVERYWHERE. At least charge them a freakin fee to come here and send money home and a consumption tax if they can't prove they are citizens, to make up for NOT PAYING INCOME TAX. They get free hospitals, schools, and we pay for it, then they get drunk wreck their cars and then just run away... the beater car is under a stolen social anyways. 95% of the outstanding warrants in Los Angeles are for illegals... what does that mean? They are 20 times harder to find!

Amnesty, no matter what you call it is amnesty.
Pence is being dishonest or he's got no clue how our immigration laws work.

Pence is being dishonest or he's got no clue how our immigration laws work. You're offering us a choice as to whether a CongressCritter is dishonest or clueless.
Why does it have to be one or the other?

---The latest proposal in Congress for a "guest"-worker program would allow unlimited immigration of eligible workers during the first three years and allow them and their families to remain here indefinitely.---
Unlimited and indefinite, just like now! What's not to like? Sure I'll vote to turn my town into a third world pest hole to keep the Dims out of power! You betcha!

I never thought the day would come, in America, where criminal illegal invaders would be more important to our congresspersons than the concerns of the American-born citizens, but so it has. Pretty soon I may have to renounce my citizenship from mexico, slip across the border into the US, so I can get in on all the freebies our congress and states are giving criminal illegal invaders.

I am so disgusted with the whole lot of them in Congress. I question whether any of them seriously have our nations best interests at heart. We have been slandered as "racists", "bigots", "anti-immigrants" and that by many in the Republican party. Guv Arnold basically spit in the faces of conservatives here lately.
I don't like this pessimistic feeling I get that we are going to get the shaft after the fall elections when the campaigning pressure is off. I had thought maybe Pence would show more backbone. Pence can go to hell. Which part of "NO AMNESTY" do these congress-turds not understand???

"Hilarious."
Yep. Having Bush certify that the bodrers are secured has gotta be the biggest joke I heard for quite a while.
