Although, it's an obvious hit piece against Condi Rice, I have to say that I agree with the criticisms against her, based upon seeing her actions in the news. Truthfully, I've never been that impressed with her, even as President Bush's National Security Advisor, and in recent months, she has just seemed like a bumbler on the world stage, particularly with Iran and North Korea.
Personally, I wish that 'Big John' Bolton was the Secretary of State, but the problem is that in going after her, Gingrich, Perle, et al might as well be going after President Bush's kid sister.
I don't care. Bush needs to lose Rice.
And, you'd be just as wrong on that thread as you are on this one.
Gingrich, Perle, et al are on the outs, and so, naturally, they're sniping.
Newt is screwing himself royally with his unhelpful remarks, of late.
What the hell did you search with?

I second the motion to boot Condi out and replace her with Bolton.
If this is true, I'm seriously concerned.
Please visit the Jews of Gush Katif THAT YOU AGREED SHOULD BE KICKED OUT OF THERE HOMES to give to the islamonazi insects to kill more Jews.
Diplomacy is always a matter of tact and dissemblement. Condi is fine IMHO.
Well, almost always. Here's a tale of a good ol' American diplomat to cheer you up. I posted it on the other thread too Of course he was relieved of his post...
"WILLIAM EATON... was appointed, in 1797, consul to Tunis. Besides attending to the ordinary duties of consul, he was authorized, in connection with the consuls of Algiers and Tripoli, to alter a treaty which a Frenchman by the name of Famin- acting as United States agent- had made with the Bey of Tunis.
...he horsewhipped Famin in the public streets"

Sure had a grasp of how to handle French "allies".
She's just doing what Daddy Albright taught her to do.
Condi Rice, and everyone else in the State Department and the Executive Branch are members of the Council on Foreign Relations. Red flags went up to me with Rice, as they did with Harriet Meyers right off the bat, and I've learned over a long life that my spirit's reaction is usually right on.
Oh dear, after reading many of the posts, I find that the name calling troops are well represented here. I can hardly wait to see what else they have to say.
You can't stop Israel until Hezballah is crushed.
I don't think that Bush can stand being around either guy.
Good thing both the author and those he quotes are not Freepers. Bot stings are a pesty irritant.
Sadly, unrebuttable proof is useless as a repellent against Bots.
The other thread did not carry the identical title and was posted 24+ hours ago.
Same stories are posted here all the time when within days of each other. You didn't do anything that isn't done here often.
Insight Magazine has waded into the wingnut fever swamp ever since the magazine was revamped in the wake of Paul Rodriguez's departure.
I do not consider it a reliable news source any longer.
If your so called "Conservative national security allies" read this, then here is the deal. You are all bozos if we don't start killing Islamofacists is large numbers...very large numbers. Screw the press (which is a fifth column), and Europe (which lacks testosterone).
Otherwise, sit down, and stfu. Let the adults handle this.

I like Bolton, where has he been all these years?
And I like Rice. She's one of the smartest people ever to hold that post. She is the president's right hand, he sent her there to execute his policy. Thats what she does.
I like Rumsfeld. Again, top notch. Cheney, again, no one in his league.
I don't agree with everything any of these people say or do, including Bush. But I can't think of when we've had a better or more professional team, ever. Maybe back when Reagan was president, certainly not since.
There are a couple of ways people go after Bush. One is to simply say that you don't agree with his policy, as I don't agree with the so-called two-state solution in Israel (it was also Israel's policy, but I still dislike it). But I argue against the policy. I don't agree with a number of Bush's domestic policies. So I argue against the policies.
Threads that try to replace policy discussion with ad hominems are a waste of time, and only get ugly. Argue the policy, if you can. Leave the ad hominems to the side.
Someone says Rice is the worst ever. I say she's the best ever. End of that discussion. Now lets talk policy. What policy do you disagree with?
Richard Perle and Newt Gingrich? Surely you can find better supporters of your position. Seriously, they are citing Baker as a man who dared to confront Saddam...they left him in power FGS and quite a hell ensued for those who counted on US support. As for Rice's knowledge of the region...read Perle prewar comments leading up to Iraq. He belongs to the group that said that Iraqi's would greet us with flowers. I have dismissed most everything he has said about the region since then.
