As I recall from an earlier glance at the transcript, Kerry said he was busy attending a "Small Business Committee" meeting. BUT, didn't he later say he had been listening from "his office"? Did Kerry HIDE OUT in his office, coming down just before the testimony ended so that he could avoid being out-brained by Bolton? If so, he left too much time.

Yep, I found it again. The Washington Post transcript. Kerry actually said he was at both locations at the same time, i.e. the hearing, and his office.
