Oh, I believe it; I saw it today on the rerun on WRAL.

He's lost touch with reality and is a complete and utter fool.

Here is the complete news conference:

Reality just whapped him over the head a bit?

What's going on down there, that a wisp of something finally penetrated his thick skull?

chutzpa: (Yiddish) unbelievable gall; insolence; audacity

Putz: (Yiddish) a fool; an idiot

Take your pick. Or, you can use both to describe Mr. Nifong.

He CLAIMS this is a press conference about his campaign and not the Duke case

He talked about both .. then tells reporters he can't discuss the case

BTW ... he's trying to act like Slick Willie

He is beyond contemptible and would have been a great commissar in the old Soviet Union...

"He said he was vocal about the case in the beginning because he wanted potential witnesses to come forward and to assure the community that the case was in good hands."

Then, without using inflammatory language, he should have had his press conference and limited it to assure the community that the case was in good hands and to asking potential witnesses to come forward. What a putz.

If Nifong was an honest man, he would be saying, his impeachment would be justified.
