Phsstpok needs some extremely positive energy directed towards maintaining his eyesight......
I pray that you will have incredibly good results from this regimen, that the doctors will claim, "it's a miracle!"...
The fact that I have any eyesight today, and in fact quite good eyesight considering, is truly a miracle that I am thankfull for every day. It does get tiring some times, but when I think of the alternative it get's real easy to deal with.
I keep in mind a few comments I have heard over the years and use them to try to express where I'm coming from
"I'll have to get over this sooner or later. Why not now?"
"I cried because I had no shoes, until I met a man who had no feet."
I am blessed because I live today and live in this country and can get treatment for my eye condition. When I was first being treated for this 30 years ago there were something like a total of 10,000 people in the world diagnosed with this condition. Although corneal transplants were even then the most successful transplant operation it was still quite a big deal (at least to me). Today it is considered routine. In addition there are several hundred thousand, if not millions, of diagnosed cases of this condition now (I think it's related to wearing badly fitting contact lenses, but that's still unresolved). The availability of well researched treatments, up to and including very successful transplants, is truly amazing. 50 years ago I would simply have been blind.
I am further blessed by being a member of this community. Folks like yourselves are my strength and, again, I thank you.
