HARTFORD, Conn. --Michael Schiavo stumbled over the name of the man he was in Connecticut to support Friday, but after fighting Congress for the right to disconnect his brain-damaged wife's feeding tube, he had no problem remembering whom he was campaigning against.

U.S. Sen. Joe Lieberman "thinks that government should have made that decision," he said. "Joe Lieberman is wrong, and that's why Joe Lieberman is going to be defeated."

When Michael Schiavo dies a horrible death, I hope, and he meets his maker, Terri will be standing right behind God when He puts the lever to deliver Michael to the gates of hell where he will burn forever.

Just as an aside - the source says Boston Herald, but it appears that it is actually the Boston Globe (or, more precisely, the Associated Press via the Boston Globe)...

Um, Pssssst, Mr. Schiavo, guess what, the judge who ruled that you could go ahead and disconnect the feeding tube was also part of the government. So, evidently you also think that the government should have made that decision.

...the judge who ruled...was also part of the government.

Yes he is, and sadly for Terri, she was exterminated by one of the rotten apples in the barrel.

Anyone who saw Schiavo's motives as highly suspicious had every reason to disbelieve him, IMO. There was so much evidence of that.

I wonder if he's sporting Terri's ring as he campaigns for the left. Remember? He took it and had it remade into a ring for himself.

Loving husband? BS.

Such a vindictive POS this Michael Schiavo murderer.

Schiavo got a taste of being in the limelight for a few years. He enjoyed the attention as he fought like hell to get his way...to end the life of his "legal" wife. (In actuality, if the life and home he and Jodie had established, along with the "family" they created, could be defined as a common law marriage, was he then a bigamist?)

He found other vermin to assist him in his unholy quest to starve Terri to death, but I suspect he misses the media attention; he's working to keep his name in the public eye. While some may think like he does, he's a thorn in the side to the rest of us.

I recommend he take up golf with OJ.

He's been bitten by the celebrity bug.

My take exactly. Another Cindy Sheehan, for example. Then again, just another of the many wannabes who've had their moment of notoriety and thirst for more.

What is with the ultra left these days?

A man who basically had the courts murder his wife.

A woman who is using her dead son as a prop for fame and glory.

What do these two have in common? They are champions of the left. With champions like these, it's a wonder they can win the election for dog catcher.
