My friend worked in Saudi, flew Saudia Airlines back and forth to Europe, said that the minute the planes cleared Saudi airspace, the robes came off both men and women and champagne was served. It was basically party hearty until they returned to Saudi airspace again. In London and probably in every other European capitol, sheiks paid clubs to stay open until 'way past dawn so they could keep carousing.

My other friend who lived in Cairo and Tunis for two years says the one word that basically covers muslims is DUPLICITOUS.

Of course. I am not surprised at all. The interesting thing is that they obviously don't believe what their own faith teaches. Or, as a friend of mine would say, they are not "serious" about their faith.

I happen to be a Christian. I have Baptist friends who sincerely believe that abstention from alcohol is required and they practice this habit. I don't happen to subscribe to their believe, but they live what they believe.

I guess what I'm saying here is if one doesn't believe in what their religious doctrines say, then what's the point??

I know there are hypocrites of all faiths, but they are so legalistic that it is extremely incongruous how they "talk" vs. how they "walk."
