Un-bleeping-believable that, on this of all weekends, when Jews are being mowed down by Muslims in Seattle, the ADL can find time to condemn an actor for things he said in a drunken haze.

It is because Jews are being mowed down in Seattle and in northern Israel, that Gibson's comments have to be disavowed strongly and specifically, by Gibson himself.
Your speechless? Well I believe the two can be connected..I'M NOT SAYING THEY ARE CONNECTED...in case you don't follow the news, Jews are being killed around the world. An international celebrity says Jews are responsible for all the ills in the world. Some crazy guy, like the one in Seattle, who is just looking for an excuse to murder some Jews now has a new hero...someone to look up to. I can't believe that you don't think these two things are connected. In the last several weeks Jews have been attacked around the world...verbally and physically. World leaders have called for our death and the destruction of our homeland...you should be speechless..we should all be speechless.

I love Mel's movies, but what he said is beyond belief. And I hate to be the one that says it, but being drunk does not CAUSE bigotry, it REVEALS it. Have you heard what he said? Absolutely disgusting. And I am sick of actors, athletes, and other famous people being able to say all sorts of vile things and then, only after being caught, apologizing. I have to agree with the ADL on this one. An apology alone is not enough.
