Adult stem cell research has already shown promise and results, while embryonic research has drawn a blank. But the latter is about killing human life, hence the emphasis.
The issue is still over humans deciding life and death, this case in infancy or later with disabled and aged.

Sweet. Thanks, MG.
Put floriduh voter down for Katherine H. and Tom G. too.
If a transcript becomes available, I'll get the link. It won't be at www.tbo.com though. Sorry for the confusion, no thanks to bay news 9.
Last year, Crist said he did not think a constitutional amendment banning gay marriage was needed because a state law is already on the books.
He praised the judges in the Schiavo case as heroes last year, and Stemberger is still talking about the dinner in Miami at which a smiling Crist posed for a photograph with Janet Reno.
Gallagher and Crist can't both be right

This race for governor is no holds barred.
Skeletons in Crist's closet are coming out and he's running out of time to do damage control.

This is so unbelievable. I lost a child in a traffic accident so I understand the feeling of losing a child. Had something like this happened to him I would have gone insane. No one involved with his death would have been safe from my rage, not the spouse, doctor, nurses or this judge.
Here is the racial slur story re: Crist.

Right to Life Endorses Harris
Tampa, FL)--- Congresswoman Katherine Harris, the Republican candidate for United States Senate, has accepted the primary election endorsement of the Florida Right to Life Political Action Committee (FRTL). This endorsement was granted to Harris based on her strong commitment toward defending human life.
"Florida Right to Life would like to thank you for your commitment to the Pro-Life cause..." stated Carrie Eisnaugle, Chairman of the FRTL, in her letter to Congresswoman Harris. "This position reflects our appreciation for your stand for the rights of unborn children, the elderly, and the infirmed."
Representative Harris has voted in support of a number of important pro-life legislative initiatives such as the Partial Birth Abortion Act, the Unborn Child Pain Awareness Act, and the Child Interstate Abortion Notification Act. In addition, Harris has voted to protect Social Security, Medicare and has advanced numerous bills to assist veterans because she believes the U.S. must honor commitments that have been made to our seniors and those who have guarded our national security at great personal cost.
Congresswoman Harris commented, "I am grateful for the support of the FRTL, defending the sanctity of human life is an issue I will continue to champion while serving in the United States Senate."

Terri on the road to recovery before the second stage began.
In one noteworthy incident, Michael Schiavo, husband of the brain-damaged Terri Schiavo, made a campaign stop with Lamont in Hartford. He denounced Lieberman for siding with the Christian fundamentalists and supporting legislation which sought to block his decision to take his wife off life support last year after she had lived more than a decade in a persistent vegetative state.
Schiavo denounced Bush, former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay and other congressional Republicans who were the prime sponsors of the bill, but included Lieberman as a key Democratic ally.

A September 1979 issue of Pro Confesso, the student newspaper at Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, Ala., used a photo of Crist in an article filled with ethnic stereotypes, describing Hispanics as "greaseballs" who came to America in a "Mexican tomato truck."
The unsigned article, under the headline "Read this and weep," shows a dark-haired, mustachioed Crist, renamed "Pablo Gomez." It was the same picture of Crist in that year's student yearbook.

It makes one wonder who is really behind trying to take Carla's license away. I wonder if Eileen Sullivan knows anybody at Palm Gardens. Eileen Sullivan was the original complainant. Recall that Jeb Bush told DOH to drop the complaint against Carla.
Crist has a new radio ad wherein Crist says "I go after the worst of the worst." (look in the mirror Crist and make sure Greer, your hero, is standing right next to you.)

CHARLIE CRIST LET TERRI SCHINDLER SCHIAVO DIE
I don't want a "not me" governor. He blew an opportunity to reach out to the Hispanic community. It's all about him, isn't it?
And he did finally drop Rev. Dozier from his Family team. That was another sticky wicket.
