I wonder if the Founding Fathers ever envisioned a scenario where a convicted mass murderer had more rights, received better treatment and was afforded more dignity than a person in a hospital.
Or if they could imagine a serial killer whining about the pain of the lethal injection needle and gaining sympathy from multitudes, whereas an innocent may be murdered by the most dastardly and painful process I can think of, dehydration, and a whole political party cheers it on.
