This article doesn't mention the $20 million that is designated for a new NOAA center to be placed in the maritime museum on the waterfront of downtown Mobile...the maritime museum that was under 14 feet of water during Katrina.

BTW Small-L, when did Dauphin Island get a newspaper. I'm just north of them and didn't know it.

To my knowledge the Dauphin Island Times is only a website, "to promote Dauphin Island". A friend sent me the link, and as an active opponent of government excesses, I thought FR needed another example of the "pork barrel overfloweth."
